Matthew Reed, Ph.D., DABT, is the Vice President, Applied Toxicology and Nonclinical Development, and Senior Scientist for Lovelace Biomedical. He oversees and consults on pharmaceutical programs, including formulation/device feasibility and development, pharmacokinetics, pharmacology, safety pharmacology, animal models of disease and pivotal IND and NDA GLP-compliant studies. His experience in pharmacology and toxicology spans hazard and risk assessment, pharmaceutical safety assessment, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, efficacy assessment in animal models of multiple diseases, general toxicology, biochemical toxicology, mechanistic toxicology, radiation toxicology, immunogenicity and cancer biology. Dr. Reed received his Ph.D. in pharmacology and toxicology from Texas A&M University and joined Lovelace in 2000.
